We are growning every month with new students and we are becoming the top spot for Schenectady brazilian jiu jitsu. Professor Robson Pereira, a native of Brazil, began his martial arts training over 20 years ago in his birth place of Sao Paulo. While earning his way up the ranks of a 3rd degree Jiu Jitsu Black Belt. He has had the opportunity to train with notable athletes from the Gracie family, Marcos Santos, Rigan Machado, Grand Master Mansor and BJ Penn.
Other distinctions include winning the Brazilian Nationals in Rio De Janeiro, and being named the Sao Paulo State Champion. Professor Robson has also trained in Kick-Boxing, Judo, MMA/Vale Tudo.
Inner Circle Brazilian Jiu Jitsu has been added to the Jiu Jitsu family of Prof. Jucao. Inner Circle is lead by Walter Johnson and is located out in the Syracuse area. We had the privilege of attending a Prof. Jucao Seminar out at Inner Circle BJJ on May 19th, we got to know a lot of the guys down there and had a great time. Congratulations to Walter and Inner Circle BJJ
A strong showing for Equipe Jucao with 18 students fighting at the NY Open. Also a strong showing for our club with 5 of those 18 coming from our school. We had Peter Borgia, Nels Larson, Jason Rinaldo, James Reeves, and Alan Gatoff all fighting. Here are the medal results.
